Let me explain the design I created: We often expect grief to be linear. Spoiler alert, it is not. It is a swirly twirly mess. And it’s because we love. The harder we love, the messier it gets. Throughout my process I have found myself wishing that people knew I was going through shit. I wish they knew I needed a smile. I wish they handled me with care. So here it is.
